Plain-language policy
Privacy
Low Motion is designed so your browsing information does not need to leave your browser.
Effective August 28, 2026
What the extension stores
The extension stores the website hostname, whether Low Motion is enabled there, your selected profile, and the end time of an active temporary exception. This data is saved with the browser’s local extension storage on your device.
What we collect
Nothing. The extension has no analytics, account system, advertising, telemetry, or remote server. It does not transmit your browsing history or profile choices.
Permissions
Access to websites is required to apply the motion policy you select. Storage access remembers that selection. The extension does not read or change form input values, passwords, messages, or payment details.
Removing data
Turn Low Motion off for a site to stop applying its policy. Uninstalling the extension removes its locally stored settings according to your browser’s extension-data behavior.
